Mar 29-31	Amiens - N. France - 90 mins from Calais. Transport, food and accommodation all free. Great Deeds Will be Done (but not in front of the mayor.)
Tues April 23	St George's Day ABF Black Tie Dinner - Princes Hall, tickets £28
April 27-28	Bourtange - Holland - Beautiful old Dutch Fortress Town. Great Hospitality
May 4-5	Battle Abbey Hastings - NA/English Heritage event. Wonderful setting
May 6	Aldershot Horse Show - Duty call for our friends in the Army Benevolent Fund. We have 20 min slot Mon May 5^th @ 3.20pm, Main Arena. Parade @ 4.45pm
Sat June 1	ABF Army Jubilee Celebration @ Farnborough - Polo Match with 7^th Paras & Queen's Jubilee Parade, Farnham, Duty Call for Farnham Town Council
Sat June 29	Farnham Carnival - Essential Public Relations Appearance before our Farnham Battle following weekend. We have horses booked for lead riders, the ACF band joining our column, a cannon and an open antique coach pulled by chestnut horses for our ladies to travel in. Maximum turnout please.
July 6-7	Farnham Castle - Our Farnham Castle Event plus Regency Fayre. 200 Troops, French, Dutch, horses & artillery camped in Farnham Park Saturday Night - Concert & Costume Ball - Ceilidh. Maximum turnout please.
July 19-31	THE BIG SUMMER TRIP THIS YEAR Cruise round France & Spain for 12 Days: July 20/21, Boulogne - Major French show of the year. Then South to sunny Spain. Battle first weekend and second weekend. July 26-28, Corunna - Beautiful City, great event. We had a great time there in 1999. Leave Friday night July 19 - Return 31st.
Aug 10-11	Kirby Hall - Northampton - English Heritage - Massive Multi Period Event.
Sept 7-8	Military Odyssey - Detling in Kent (Multi-Period Event)
Sept 14-15	Couderkirque - France. Near Dunkirk. Easy to get to. Napoleonic Moated Fortress. Usual great Hospitality

Sun Jan 21	Napoleonic Fair. Royal National Hotel, Bedford Way London WC1. Lot of traders, kit & equip,meet all the other units, catch up on the gossip.

April 14 & 15	N.A Training Weekend - Army ranges Salisbury Plain
April 21	April - St George's Day Dinner - Army Benevolent Fund, Princes Hall Aldershot Tickets £22.50 Black Tie. Usual terrific Army hospitality.
May 6 & 7	N.A. & English Heritage - Battle Abbey - Hastings. Major UK Battle.
May 20	Concert in the Great Hall - Farnham Castle 4.30 for 5pm Judith Richardson Soprano visiting from Canada. Petro von Weilligh - Flute David Harvey - Piano Music by Handel, Mozart, & Bizet. Tickets £12 (includes free wine). The concert is aid of local charities. Superb setting of the castle. After the concert we may join the performers and friends for supper at the Castle for £10 /head.
Fri June 8	Waterloo Dinner - Garrison Officers Mess - Aldershot. The Army Benevolent Fund (ABF)
Sat June 9	Training Camp at Tilford. BBQ 6pm - Drinks in Barley Mow 8pm
June 16/17	The Big One. Farnham Castle - Re-enactment of the Battle of Waterloo. 300 Troops, French, Dutch, horses & artillery camped in Farnham Park. Saturday Night - Costume Ball - see Details and Programme
Sat June 30	Picnic of Doom (IV) - Mystery Location. (Usual mystery how we all get home.)
July 21& 22	Boulogne - Major French show of the year.
Sat Aug 4	Battle Prom - Newbury
Aug 11 & 12	Kirby Hall - Northampton - English Heritage - Massive Multi Period Event.
Sat Aug 18	Battle Prom - Stowe Gardens, Buckingham
Sat Dec 1st	Devil's Punchbowl via Tilford for Lunch. Private hire of Hindhead Youth Hostel Saturday Night. Walk cross country to Barley Mow for lunch. Then cross country to Hindhead. Ladies and children welcome. Supper together. Drinks at Devils Punchbowl Hotel. Ghost stories round the log fire. Brilliant plan - what could possibly go wrong with that?

2000 Season Events
January 30 (Sunday)	Training Session - 11 am, meet outside Farnham T.A. Centre, Guildford Road.
February 10 (Thursday)	AGM & Cheese & Wine Social Event - 8pm, 12 Hale Road. Need to discuss events planned for this year. Bring a bottle, food is free.
February 13 (Sunday)	Joint Training Session with 2^nd Foot Regt. Aldershot Military Museum - (Leaving 12 Hale Road at 10.30am if you want to follow us)
February 20 (Sunday)	Napoleonic Market- Royal National Hotel, Bedford Way, London WC1. Books, kit, clothes, uniforms, etc
March 4 & 5	Nice - Golfe Juan - S. of France - Great Deeds Were Done (but not in front of the mayor. )
April 13 (Thursday)	Farnham Beerex - 7.30 pm, meet in Sevens then storm the Maltings.
April 22 & 24	Guildford Millenium Show- Shalford Park Mon: Five Battles : Agincourt 1415 - You'll have someone's eye out with that.. Bosworth 1485 - My Kingdom for a horse or better still a Panzer Division.. Naseby 1645 - Who is Old Leather Arse ? Oliver Who ? Waterloo 1815 - Don't point those blahdy muskets at me.. "D" Day 1944 - I didn't see any Brits helping private Ryan..
May 6	Mayors Charity Ball - Farnham. £45 per ticket. We have booked table for ten.
June 10	Picnic of Doom III - Coach to Kew Gardens - Picnic - Picnic - Doom. Boat to Hampton Court - Tea - Supper by River - Nightclub, coach home. Brilliant Plan - what could possibly go wrong with that?
June 11	No.1 London - Apsley House - Wellington's London Residence @ Marble Arch - Reception to launch Waterloo week. Officers kit and posh frocks only. Good photo opportunity - National press. Any redcoat privates will get stuck on sentry duty etc so anyone wanting to go will need to borrow some officers rig.
June 16	Waterloo Dinner - Garrison Officers Mess - Aldershot - The Army Benevolent Fund (ABF) have kindly invited us again to their best annual dinner. Bucks fizz on the lawn before dinner and we fire off a few shots. Very difficult to impress real Army types but they can always be surprised, I seem to remember that last year there was a small matter of an escaping pig. Tickets £18.50 each (Army Mess prices for all drinks)
June 24/25	Farnham Castle - Re-enactment of the Battle of Waterloo. 300 Troops, French, Dutch, horses & artillery camped in Farnham Park - Saturday night Street Party in Castle Street All this and you'll be paid to do it !!
July 8 & 9	Boulogne - France.Major Alliance show of the year. Priority Event. Have the French developed a suitable response to Yuri and Dorsey's Airborne Redcoat Blitzreig attack???
August 12	Kirby Hall - Northampton - English Heritage Event, Biggest Re-enactment bash in UK. (About 5,000 camp out around ruined Jacobean Manor House) Romans, Vikings, Medieval, Roundheads, Cavaliers, Napoleonics, Michael Caine & 4,000 Zulus, totally off the wall weekend. (The nocturnal party after the crowd has gone home is beyond belief)
September 1-8	MALTA - This years big Trip- Food and Accommodation free. Just pay your own. Flight. Group discount with Air Malta £135 return. (£171 with tax). We are limited to 18 places. Let me know asap if you want to go.
September 23-24	Avesnes sur Helpe - France - Last big bash this summer. Napoleonic moated fortress. Usual great hospitality
September 30	Trip to London - "Ladies of the Salon" have invited us to "Rakes & Trollops" evening at the Spaniards Inn, Hampstead Heath. Transport provided
October 17	Napoleon, the Musical- Opening night at the Shaftesbury Theatre, London
November 4	Firework Party - Martin and Bev have invited club to firework party at Rangers Cottage
November 5	Training- at Farnham Castle
November 10	Royal Horse Artillery Mess Dinner - guests of ABF, black tie, tickets £16.50
December 2	Training March to the Devil's Punchbowl - via Tilford for lunch, private hire of Hindhead Youth Hostel Saturday night. Troops to march cross country to Barley Mow for lunch, then cross country to Hindhead. Ladies and children drive directly to hostel for afternoon. Supper together. Drinks at Devil's Punchbowl Hotel. Ghost stories round the log fire. Brilliant plan - what could possibly go wrong with that?

September 18/19	Coudekerque, France. Nice little town near Dunkerque. This is a good crowd. Usual marvellous French hospitality.
August 28-30	Shoeburyness - battle.
July 31/August 1	Corunna, Galicia, NW Spain - Battle - Our big event for the year.
July 24/25	Boulogne, France - Battle - Pity so close to Corunna. This year it promises to be a corker. The French are closing the old town to cars and we will be street fighting. The British have already selected the best square (pubs and restaurants) to defend. Annual event, very well established.
July 10/11	Ragley Hall - Open air concert near Worcester. Battle Proms.
July 3	Summer Picnic - Beautiful Thamesside location.
June 18	Waterloo Dinner - Garrison Officers Mess - Aldershot - Society of St George - Real Army invited us to drink Bucks Fizz on the lawn and do musket demonstration. This is a charity dinner to commemorate the Battle of Waterloo, June 18, 1815. Proceeds go to the Army Benevolent Fund. Our thanks to Losely Estate who loaned us a live piglet for our Plunder Scene..
June 12/13	Fleet, Hants - Battle with French Army - Sponsored by the local Lions Club for charity. Armed camp with drill and musket displays. Cavalry and artillery expected to attend. Parade and battle display Sunday.
May 23	Oxford - Private Show - We camp overnight in grounds of country house, entertain the guests and party on.
May 3	Bank Holiday Monday - Normal Training - 11am at Shepherd & Flock.
March 6-7	NWA trip to South of France - City of Nice, 50 Redcoats with artillery support contracted to defend harbour fort under attack from two French frigates. We are then over-run by French marines. So long as they are paying, who cares who wins?
January	Issue Uniforms & Equipment, Sunday Mornings drill & Musket training - monthly followed by cross country march to Barley Mow, Tilford, for pub lunch - full kit.

1998 Season
December 12	Regimental Christmas Doo-Dah - coach to London, meet 7pm in Regimental HQ (Hop Blossom)
November 25	Cheese and wine party - 12 Hale Road - £6 each on the door. General recruiting and uniform fitting - bring your cheque books.
November 13	Fright Night - Osterley Park House, tickets £12 each
